Liverpool Anglican Cathedral is a modern masterpiece in the medieval gothic style, built of modern materials (concrete, brick, local sandstone) See the highest set of bells in the world, the biggest gothic arches, the biggest Anglican cathedral in the world and plenty of Liver birds, plus a mouse and an angel with a football rattle.

A walk, ride or boat trip along the Bridgewater Canal is a journey to the past and a glimpse into the future. Every stretch of the waterway has a story to tell about human ingenuity, endurance and events that shaped Salford and the world. The canal is a place of global importance, inspired by the vision of three men and the toil of hundreds more.

Liverpool Anglican Cathedral has something for everyone - from those who wish to explore the spirituality to those who come to gaze in awe at the sheer scale of the building.  Let me take you on a tour of a building designed by Giles Gilbert Scott when he was only 22 years old......
